Our Story

Alvira began, like many other companies, with a problem; in our case, the loss of a relative in a residential fire in Stockholm, 2011. Add to that a few break-ins, three friends and frustration to find a good home security solution and you have a "why". Fast forward 8 years to a grant from Vinnova and you have a company; Alvira.

Since 2019, we've worked tirelessly* on building a solution that, we hope, will redefine not only what home security is, but also who can afford it. We believe that it's time for a change, a change where we work together and help each other and create friendly communities. Our goal is to launch Alvira in Sweden as soon as we can, sign up to get notified when we do.

We are on a mission to disrupt an old, stagnated industry, currently dominated by old, slow moving Megatheriums who's been thriving for years.
